VisionREZ is available in two versions (Stand Alone and Plug In) to meet your individual needs and requirements. Review the following information to better understand these options and to select a version.

VisionREZ Stand Alone
VisionREZ Stand Alone

Description: Powered by Autodesk® Technology™. “Bundle” solution that Includes all VisionREZ features found in the Plug In version + AutoCAD Architecture 2008 platform. Stand Alone does not include select commercial features: spacing, curtain walls, curtain wall units, column and ceiling grid nor user-defined VBA, LISP or other 3rd party software. 

Select this version if any of the following apply to you:
     •You do not currently own a full seat of AutoCAD Architecture 2008, Architectural Desktop 2007 or AutoCAD MEP
     •Your primary activity is residential or light commercial development (design, drafting, estimating, graphics).
     •You own another CAD or BIM software product but desire to be on the dominant Autodesk platform.

NOTE: VisionREZ Stand Alone cannot coexist on a computer that already has AutoCAD Architecture, AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT, Architectural Desktop, Autodesk Building Solutions or AutoCAD MEP installed.

VisionREZ Plug-In
VisionREZ Plug-In

Description: Add-on to AutoCAD Architecture 2008 and 2009 and AutoCAD MEP 2008 and 2009.

Select this version if any of the following apply to you:
     •Your primary activity is residential or light commercial development (design, drafting, estimating, graphics).

     •You currently own a full seat of AutoCAD Architecture 2008 or 2009, or AutoCAD MEP 2008 or 2009.


Trim and Muntins
Attach trim to doors, windows, openings, VisionREZ roof, and polylines. VisionREZ trim and muntins auto-adjust as the object it is attached to changes.
