Roof
The VisionREZ roof is our own
custom object designed for the residential industry.
Residential settings allow for complete design without
exploding to slabs therefore enabling complete roof
manipulation. Overrides can be applied to any roof slab or
transition to change pitches, overhangs, lambsleg or Greek
returns. Users can also trim joists that protrude through
the roof and can utilize the 2D Roof Layout Tool to
establish the location and angle of rooflines for
intersections of varying pitches and plate heights. |

Framing & Truss Profiles
VisionREZ provides robust roof, wall, floor framing, and truss profiles. ADT structural objects are used to represent framing for floors, ceilings and roofs. Various tools are used to automate layouts and anchor the structural objects to polylines, slabs, roof slabs and the VisionREZ roof. Optimize decking layouts to reduce waste factors and value engineer framing layouts. Data can be displayed in schedules and exported to bill of material spreadsheets. Framing includes: valleys, ridges, subfacia, facia, soffit, purlins, decking layouts, x-bracing and splicing tools. |

Models
VisionREZ provides the same, tried and true, 2D construction document drawings with an injection of intelligent modeling advantages. Digital models bring designs to life for impressive presentations and can be readily viewed for design, conflict errors and continued validation. The model provides the basis for creating rendering graphics and animation for Internet and marketing functions. |

Content
Access an extensive collection of over 1000 pieces of interior content. Quickly and easily insert content with automatic wall anchors; establish offset distance from the wall, flip sides of the wall, and access automatic interference and height adjustment. Auto-interference includes medicine cabinets, fireplaces and sinks in countertops. Associated content includes appliances with cabinets, electrical, plumbing and text with appliances, faucets with plumbing. Relocating or deleting primary content automatically relocates or deletes associated content. |

Trim and
Muntins
Attach trim to doors, windows, openings, VisionREZ roof,
and polylines. VisionREZ trim and muntins auto-adjust as
the object it is attached to changes. Trim can be anchored
to other trim and the starting / ending points, shape,
width, depth, length or rotation can be adjusted. You can
also add, delete, break or miter trim. |

Bill of Materials
Verify materials accuracy by quickly and accurately generating data for Bill of Materials
(BOM) spreadsheets. Extract a fully relational Access database from your model. Excel spreadsheets contain all raw data and ability to match building objects to database products. You can include product number or accounting items in the database for integration with Autodesk® DWF files, accounting, purchasing and since changes are directly related to your model you can quickly and efficiently reflect new BOM information. |
